Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

We’re looking for a driven and customer-focused Territory Sales Manager to join our dynamic team and help us expand our presence in the Central Valley of California.
Job Description:
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing relationships within your assigned region. You will work closely with specifiers, municipalities, schools, parks and recreation departments, contractors, housing developers, property managers, childcare facilities and other key stakeholders to promote and sell our products and services. This role requires a self-starter who is passionate about outdoor play and has a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets within your assigned territory.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in public and private sectors, including schools, government agencies, parks and public works departments, and landscape architects.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients and respond to inquiries regarding product specifications, pricing, and services.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create customized solutions that meet the needs of clients.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, including market trends and competitive activity.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and product knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven experience in outside sales, with a preference for experience in the construction, playground, or public sector markets.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of playground safety standards and equipment is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory, trade shows, and vendors as needed which may require overnight stays.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with CAD software a plus, but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
